This blog is meant to be a space for informal discussion of various topics of interest to members of my research group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.  I anticipate that its main purpose will be to allow us to tell the stories behind our own research papers.  But we may also use it to discuss other papers in the field as well as current events or controversies of special interest.  Some of our close colleagues and collaborators may also be invited to post here on occasion.  For general information about our laboratory, please see our main laboratory website at http://siepellab.labsites.cshl.edu/.
